Alex Zamora is a first generation LatinX-American artist based in Los Angeles, California.
Alex studied Music Performance at the University of Santa Cruz, California before realizing that photography was his true passion. While attending school Alex worked as the Photography Editor of the University newspaper City on a Hill Press. This opportunity taught him the importance of truth in reporting, collaboration and meeting tight deadlines.
After receiving his Bachelor’s in Art from UCSC Alex briefly attended the School of the Art Institute in Chicago, Illinois. Though the school was impressive, a series of unfortunate family incidents and a lack of connection to his surroundings prompted Alex to move back to Los Angeles before finishing his degree.
Now settled in his hometown, Alex is building his Fine Art portraiture brand and making short films as often as he can. Alex loves meeting new people, beautiful design, playing loud music, riding slow motorcycles and petting goofy dogs.
